How much time will my photo session take?

The length of your session will depend on which package you select. Our basic Executive Portrait (headshot) Session lasts about 2 hours.

Depending on the number of images created, you will either view your images immediately after your session or we will schedule a separate in-person viewing, selection and ordering session. 

Our Lifestyle Branding sessions are 4+ hours depending on the package you select.

No matter which session you choose, we will keep working until we have created the images of your dreams!

How far in advance should I schedule my session?

Because our calendar fills quickly we recommend scheduling your session at least 1 – 3 weeks in advance, even earlier if you need your branding photos for an upcoming project or if your session requires extra planning.

What should I bring to my photo session?

We generally suggest you bring a minimum of 3 – 5 outfits to your photo session complete with shoes and all the accessories. Make sure to include that one outfit that makes you feel like a boss and you can take on the world with confidence!

The more choices you have the better because there are times when an outfit may not read well on camera, so making sure you have options is key. Of course, we will discuss all of this with you in detail before your session.

Should I bring my own clothes?

Absolutely!  It’s always fun to shop for a few brand new, special items to glam up your current wardrobe especially if you are doing a Branding Lifestyle Session. But don’t worry! We’re here to offer you plenty of guidance, suggestions and support on exactly what to wear (and just as important…what not to wear).

How many wardrobe changes should I prepare for?

Again, this will depend on which package you select. Even for our basic headshot sessions we suggest at least 3 looks for the different poses we will create.. Of course, there will be many more changes when you book a Branding session. We do not impose a limit on the number of wardrobe changes. Our goal is to give you as much variety as possible during your shoot.

Do you provide professional makeup and hairstyling?

Yes! We have a fantastic team of Go-To professional makeup artists and hair stylists that will be on set the entire length of your photo session. There is an additional charge for this service for our headshot sessions. All of our Lifestyle Branding packages INCLUDE professional hair and makeup services.

Do you offer studio and outdoor sessions?

Of course! We’re happy to discuss location options for your session during the planning stages.

Whether you have your photos taken in our air conditioned studio or if you are interested in having your photos taken downtown, at a local coffee shop, in your kitchen, the mountains, or the desert, our goal is always to give you portraits that represent your brand authentically.

How many images will I receive?

Each Lifestyle Branding package has a designated number of images included. The Executive Portrait or Headshot session includes one final, high-resolution retouched image with standard usage rights included. 

With that said, sometimes it’s hard to narrow your selection to just one or even just a few images. Additional photographs can be ordered at a low, per image additional fee.

When will I be able to see my proofs?

Great news! As part of your session fee we offer an in-person viewing and order session appointment set within 4 – 7 days post-session for no additional charge. This allows you to compare each image to make sure you get the perfect expression and pose of your choice without second guessing your final selections.

What if I don’t like my pictures?

During the session, we take the time to preview and get your approval this way we ensure you are getting the style, mood, and feel you want in the images we are creating during our time together. Because we work with professional, in-demand makeup artists and hairstylists who we have to schedule well in advance and compensate for their time, we are unable to offer full refunds if this service is used.

The good news – we’ve never been asked for a refund!

When will I receive my final retouched images?

Executive Portrait images will be delivered within 3 to 5 days after the selection process. Lifestyle images will be delivered within 7 – 10 days following your reveal, selection, and order session.

What is your cancellation policy?

We request a pre-paid Creation Fee in advance to secure your session reservation. We understand unforeseen situations come up that are out of your control, so we are happy to reschedule photo sessions with a 48-hour notice.

Can you tell me about your payment policy? 

We ask for a pre-paid Creation Fee in advance to secure your session reservation. The remaining balance is due following your photo session. We accept cash, all major credit cards, PayPal, and e-transfers.

How many sessions do you do in a day?

We schedule no more than 2 photography sessions per day. That way you never feel rushed and we have the time to ensure we get that perfect photo from your session.

Are you available to travel?

Absolutely! We love to travel for sessions and are often on the road photographing clients. Let’s talk about the possibilities!
